Stories to amaze, amuse and wizen.

The magic inexhaustible treasure trove of stories, myths, legends, folktales and    fables comes to the rescue when times are tough, things fail to go our way, we are generally and totally unhappy, and the ugly three headed dragon is breathing foul smelling flames in our faces, we turn to stories for wisdom to help us look around and deep inside and while sincerely assessing the situation,  find inspiration to help us plan the path to success, and reassurance that the good always win and the inevitable happy ending that logically always comes on time.

Gift from the Sun - A brave shepherd  saves the Sun from a terrible monster. Sun’s  father reluctantly gives him a magic gift. The boy sets to travel, nearly looses his life as a servant to a cruel king, but finds happiness with the help of a mysterious Ocean Princess.

Faith, persistence and the natural urge to be good to     others lead our hero through a maze of scary, magical adventures to the ultimate end where reason has to overcome fear, rage, and the lust for gold. Finally a balance is reached.

The Man Who Stood for the Sun - A poor man in his search for luck works hard but disasters seem to follow him wherever he goes. Then at the town festival he looses everything when his wife is enchanted by a magic, swing decorated with flowers. The becomes a wanderer again living like a hermit or more like a wild animal until in a twist of fate he finds himself replacing the Sun. That’s when he decided to stand for himself.

Poor Man’s Luck - A poor man sees how a half-blind, lame, old wolf enjoys a free   dinner and decides that there is no use to work.  One must just wait and luck will come to him. Day after day he lays on his bed staring aimlessly at the ceiling until a dream changes   everything.

The Nightingale Named Gyzar - A cruel Sultan had many sins accumulated in his life of war and plunder. Now in his old age he wants to repent and beg for forgiveness, but God won’t listen to his prayer, although the Sultan has used all his wealth to build the most magnificent mosque in the world. A mysterious monk tells the desperate monarch that only the captivating song of the nightingale Gyzar can draw God’s attention to Sultan’s prayer, but the holy man doesn’t know where the bird can be found. Sultan’s sons set on a quest to find the magic bird and help their father in his predicament.

Warrior Legends  - From the moment our jungle warrior saves a flamingo from a terrible python, we journey around the world, following warriors and their legends all the way. Pirates raid the jungle then Vikings loot their ship, but a mystical saint sails off with the treasure, eventually to America, where cowboys chase his friends, the Indians. After the cowboys ditch their guns, an Aztec spaceship lands in a desert, leading to an all time fight-off and eventually, in warrior heaven, the Maori haka – after which they all run home to bed!
